Entry for March 13, 2008 " I Will Touch The Sun"

Welcome back to the Island. Yeah man!

I also wrote a book of inspirational poems entitled:"I Will Touch The Sun." Don't worry! I don't plan to forsake your best friend, Tilou. She will soon be back on a sequel to "Crying Mountain." The saga will continue. Meanwhile, I want you to enjoy those beautiful pictures and encouraging words.

This one I have attached to this blog is my favorite. It always make me feel good inside. It might also work for you. You never know. Try it and listen to your heart. Does it work? Let me know.
You may have to read it on amazon if the prints are too small.

I couldn't put this book down. This 6 yr old child used the tools of what is now known as "the secret" in order to survive. She seems to also has a connection with nature, much like the Indians, a oneness with nature, plants and birds. I can't wait for the sequel. I didn't want the book to end.

Of all the books written by Ms Dauphin, Crying Mountain because of its human and social importance is the most must read one. The recent CNN's segment on the plight of the children of Haiti's poors makes Crying Mountain a book that all who are concerned with the slave trade and the selling of children all around the world must read. Tell.
